Altruism Institute
A once in a lifetime experience for park & recreation professionals
2018 Program - Monday, September 3 thru Thursday, September 6
About the Altruism Institute
A once in a lifetime experience for park & recreation professionals built upon a     foundation of social and fiscal responsibility - being smart and courageous in how we work and how we act.
This intensive 4 day program will challenge 24 participating park and recreation executives and policy makers to think differently about important social and fiscal issues as they relate to and impact public parks and recreation.

The Altruism Institute was developed to remind us that we carry the ultimate responsibility for the decisions we make and their impacts on the welfare of others.

Institute speakers and facilitators will provide provocative insights about how we can begin to think strategically, smarter and courageously in response to today's challenges and important issues.

This life and career altering experience includes all sessions (1.5 CEUs), accommodations, breakfasts and lunches, recreational activities, and a Colorado gear package that includes a daypack, water bottle and other goodies that reflect the special place in which you will be.

Where is the 2018 Altruism Institute being held?

This year's program will be hosted at the Hotel Boulderado in the heart of downtown Boulder, Colorado. The area provides a mild climate and breathtaking views of the flatirons of the Rocky Mountains. Boulder is an outdoor paradise with year round outdoor recreation activities and a reputation reflective of healthy lifestyles, environmental sustainability, and a true appreciation for recreation and public lands.

As the saying goes...you most definitely will not want to miss this!
